Geocaching
Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocashes, outdoors and then share your experiences online. A travel bug can be found in a cache - this is a trackable tag that can be attached to an item. This allows the bug/item to be tracked on Geocaching.com. The bug/item becomes a hitchhiker that is carried from cache to cache (or person to person) in the real world and you can follow its progress online.
Geocaching is a fantastic way to encourage all the family to enjoy being outside.
